The last month since I was last 'present' has been hectic. moving, finishing and starting etc..

i usually (read: always) come online to read not to write. today reading kincaid's "my garden (book)" aroused my desire to come back and garden (this site). hard to form a new habit, but hope to be back tomorrow

most of the personal websites i come across are professional/portfolio. i'm inspired by the expressive possibility here.

flounder has me imagining sites like this as a public utility ... hosted locally ... it has got to be than >nextdoor< and the like ...

anyway

this is my first day online

may wipe all this and start fresh tomorrow
